Submission Requirements

If you have a remarkable piece you would like considered for the exhibit, please prepare the following for your application:

• Photographic Evidence: You must upload clear, well-lit photos of the actual clothing piece you wish to display (please include full-length and detail shots).
  
• Historic Context: Provide a brief narrative explaining the historical significance, era (such as Victorian or mid-century modern), or inspiration behind the garment, demonstrating exactly how it meets the theme's standards.
  
• Garment Condition: All items must be clean and in display-ready condition.
  

The Selection Process

• Judging Panel: A dedicated panel of judges will review all submissions.
  
• Exclusivity: Space is limited to ensure each garment is showcased beautifully. Please understand that not every submitted outfit will be selected.
  
• Deadlines: Submissions must be received by January 15, 2027, and you will be notified of the panel’s decision by January 22, 2027.
  

Display Setup & Security

• Garment Protection: To ensure the safety and preservation of these exquisite wardrobes, the entire exhibit will be bordered by a 3-foot pipe and drape wall to protect the items from being touched by attendees.

• Event Insurance has you covered: You must provide the monetary value of your garment and accessories.
  
• Display Hardware: We are happy to provide the necessary mannequins or dress forms for your item, though you are welcome to provide your own if your piece requires a specific fit.
  
• Attribution: Every selected piece will be accompanied by a professional display placard detailing its history and crediting you as the contributor.
